A significant number of our engineers are engaged in R&D, exploring new avenues for innovation day after day.

Systems and Structures Engineering

Design and development of complete systems and structural parts/assemblies starting from conceptual design and architectures definition, through detailed 3D modelling, kineto-dynamic analyses, sizing and performances, loads calculation, fatigue and damage tolerance analyses, linear and non-linear FEM, and impact analyses.
Systems and Structures Testing

Full qualification of Landing Gear systems, Hydro/Electro Mechanical Systems and certification of composite structural components. Drop test up to 10 tons at a sink speed of 5 m/s, full static and fatigue test, environmental testing in climatic chambers ranging from -70°C to +180°C relative humidity included, material (metal and composite) characterization and certification.
Engineering Internal Organization

Engineers have skill to work in international teams to jointly define with customers to develop a customized product since the earliest phases of definition with a “design to cost and weight” approach, integrating cost management with decision-making at the design stage, in compliance with the customer’s technical specifications and with airworthiness rules.
Project
Management

The Project Management approach is used from the early stages of new programs by identifying the five main phases: initiation, planning, execution, performance and conclusion. Projects are developed through the definition of the key milestones from WBS, dedicated planning, resource allocation, risk assessment and mitigation plan.
